Lessons Learned Module 1
Module one introduced us to Computer Networking Principles, the OSI and TCP layered models, Applications Protocols, RS Web Hosting, and Network Media. It provided us with an overview of both layered communication models and data communication that included a brief examination of communication standards, architectures, concepts, and an examination of both the OSI Model's Application and the Physical layers.
The learning artifact I chose for this module is the set of questions I answered after watching several online tutorials by Eli the Computer Guy on Network Media and Professor Messer whose videos take a more conceptual approach of Media and Topologies. I appreciated these videos because they both emphasized on the practical aspect of network cabling and introduced us to the different types of computer networking hardware.
